Time to Reflect

1. Tell why you think it is important to be able to divide numbers. For what kind of problems do you need to use division?

I think it is important because, in different countries the money is different too, so you need to convert it into the money you know, and we need to division when we buy stuff because we have to see what is left.

2. Tell what part of this unit was the most difficult for you and why. Describe what you did to overcome any difficulties you had.

I think the most difficult part was when we had to ignore the decimal and make the remainder into a decimal, because sometimes if I don't read the question and do it, it's very easy to make a mistake because some will tell you to convert the remainder into a decimal, now I read my questions more carefully, now I don't have that many mistakes.

Parables

The same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. A large crowd of people gathered around him. Jesus got into a bout and sat in it, while the crowd stood on the shore. Then he told the people lots of things in parables. The seed sown along the path means that the ones who hears the message about the kingdom does not understand, and the evil comes and snatches it away. The one who received the seed that fell among the rocks is the man that hears the word and receives it with joy, but since it has no root, he last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. The one that received the seed among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of his life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, and it becomes unfruitful. But the one that received the seed that fell on the good soil, is the man that hears the word and understands it. The connection I have to my life is, that people should be like the man who received the seed that fell among the good soil, after we hear the word and understand it we should do it immediately.
